We, at Shetty's Healing Center, have always tried our best to enrich the lives of those around us through our work. Therefore, in view of the recent outbreak of Covid-19, we have curated a list of simple steps that each one of us can take to make sure we stay physically and mentally healthy.

1. Practice Intentional Meditation

Covid-19 is sparking fear and anxiety across the globe. Therefore, the most important thing we can do for our health right now is to be a source of strength, calm and peace, for ourselves and for those around us. By doing this we have the power to collectively clear any catastrophe. Studies prove the amplification of love and peace when a group meditates together. So, tune in to our free guided meditations. Share them with your friends and family! Doesn't matter if they have or haven't meditated before. Anyone and everyone can do this.

2. Limit News Intake


You just need to hear what's going on once a day, That too from one reliable source, not hundreds. Don't fill your head with news updates. Your thoughts affect your mood. Your mood affects your nervous system. An overactive nervous system compromises the immune system. SO CHOOSE HEALTHY THINKING. Keep your attention on Peace and Calm. Breathe. Don't forget to laugh (its a real immunity booster). Relax. It's going to be okay.

3. Stay In

It may seem like a punishment but social distancing and maintaining proper hygiene are essential to contain further spread of the disease, and are therefore necessary for the greater good of all. So stay in, Everything else can wait. 

4. Move. Eat Well. Sleep Well.

If you're working from home, try to get atleast 7-8 hours of sleep. Also try to stick to the same sleep schedule.

Make use of this time to do some home workouts, or get out in the sun to take a walk if its not very crowded. Getting about 20 minutes of sunlight on your skin daily helps to strenghten the immune system and releases feel-good hormones.
